Description: This position will work on system-level engineering and problem analysis for automotive infotainment systems. Duties and Responsibilities

Description: The Enterprise Infrastructure Section (EIS) of !SO’s MCD provides data center infrastructure services to multiple departments with our client. Services range from network and storage infrastructure based on application requirements. The Consultant shall work on the storage infrastructure which has been growing in size at a rate of 30% per year due to increased storage demands from new customer systems and growth in existing systems.
- Perform storage migrations on AIX/HP-UX Windows operating systems to the new EMC VMAX storage arrays in Downey and LRC.
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain EMC VNX, VMAX and vPLEX virtualized storage systems.
- Provide and configure EMC vPLEX virtualized storage in an active/active production environment.
- Provide performance analysis and create/modify VMAX FAST VP policies to meet host level performance requirements.
- Upgrade and migrate EMC Replication Manager hosts for Windows and Unix hosts.
- Create and present Symmetrix clones to hosts and configure for use with EMC Replication Manager.
- Migrate AIX/HP-UX/Windows, and VMware ESX hosts from older storage arrays to newer storage arrays.
- Provide, decommission, and repurpose EMC VMAX storage for virtual and virtual hosts.
- Provide and configure EMC VNX storage for virtual hosts.

Requirements:
The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years working as an Administrative Storage Consultant in enterprise environments.
- Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years working with all EMC storage solutions from midrange to enterprise class storage arrays.
- Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years working with all EMC replication technologies.
- Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years working as a system administrator for AIX, HPUX, VMware, and Windows platforms.
- Two (2) years’ experience within the last four (4) years working with VMware ESX 5.x.
- One (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years allocating EMC storage to Cisco UCS hosts.
- One (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years configuring EMCvPLEX.
Additional references may be requested if called for interview. Partial months of experience will not be accepted as a full year.
